Fireplaces do not have to be small and can get longer depending on the available storage space. By using larger ash blocks stacked on top of each other, you can quickly create a larger fireplace, perfect for large barbecues.
You can also create an underground fireplace with bricks and stones. All you have to do is dig a hole the size of the desired fireplace, then place blocks around the edge to give a proper base inside the hole. Then you can lay concrete slabs and stones around the pit to make it more beautiful.
Mark the middle of the fireplace. The easiest way is to sink. Then tie a chain with half the total diameter for the final core. In other words, if your pit has a diameter of 36 inches, attach the string to 18 inches. Tie the other end of the string to another stake or stick and pull the string.
